La Bloomsday Society fue fundada el 16 de junio de 2014, para difundir la obra de James Joyce y otros escritores irlandeses en español e inglés. Entre sus actividades, avaladas por la Embajada de Irlanda, está la organización del Bloomsday, desde 2014,en Madrid. El 26 de octubre, continuaremos con la lectura de Ulises y Finnegans Wake y comenzaremos Exiles. El último miércoles de cada mes, de 19:00 a 21:00 horas, en el Ateneo de Madrid. J. J. Fisher sings "In Old Madrid" on Edison cylinder 7007 (1905). "(...) Her (the lady's) eyes, dark, large, looked at Stephen, about to smile about something to be admired, Lafayette of Westmoreland street, Dublin's premier photographic artist, being responsible for the esthetic execution (...)".
